⚠️ Shattered Sanctuary ⚠️
For the children of Gaza
In Gaza’s dark and heavy night,
A lonely child has lost her light.
She curls away from fear and harm,
Still reaching for her mother’s arm.
⚠️ No child should learn the sound of war
before learning the meaning of peace.
The world outside is cold and bleak,
A ruined home, a future weak.
She draws a shell around her pain,
To hide from loss, from fire, from rain.
⚠️ Behind every number is a child,
a name, a heartbeat, a story unfinished.
But deep inside the shadow’s chest,
Her mother’s soul still gives her rest.
Though bombs may fall and walls may break,
That silent love they cannot take.
⚠️ Children are not targets.
Childhood is not meant to survive war.
And somewhere underneath the scars,
She still looks up to count the stars.
Not wishing power, hate, or fame—
Only a life without the flames.
🕊️ May every child find safety,
and every grieving heart find peace.
